Film Grammage Test

1. Tools Needed: Electronic balance, cutting knife, 10×10 cm template, ruler.

2. Sampling: Take samples randomly from different positions of the film roll, avoiding edges or wrinkled areas.

3. Cutting: Cut the sample into 10 cm × 10 cm (area = 0.01 m²).

4. Weighing: Weigh the sample accurately and record the weight in grams (g).

5. Calculation:

Example: If the sample weighs 0.25 g grammage = 25g/m².

6. Comparison: Compare the result with the product specification. Acceptable deviation is usually within ±3%.
